Our Environment Today
Industrial age accelerates global warming - That began with the start of the industrial revolution, when new agricultural and industrial practices began to alter the global climate and environment. Before that time, human activities did not release many greenhouse gases, but population growth, deforestation, factory pollution, increased use of chemical in farming, and wide spread use of fossil fuels are creating an excess of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere and contributing to global warming. With the global warming on the increase and species¡¯ habitats on the decrease, the chances of various ecosystems to adapt naturally are diminishing.
